  1. I currently use Dr. Bronners soaps and mango and lime condtioner. I would try to incorporate the shea brands during the colder weather times to keep my locs moisturized and protected from the harsh winter winds.

  2. I currently use Trader Joes Tea Tree shampoo but once the weather gets colder I know I will need a more moisturizing shampoo. I currently use Shea moisture organic hold and shine moisture spray and the Reconstructive Elixir spray to seal the moisture and would love in include this shampoo in my routine.

  3. I'm currently using Miss Jessie's & Aura Rosemary Mint Shampoo & Conditioner. I would use this as a light shampoo and conditioner during winter time as well as when I need an extra washing during the week.

  5. Hi Yall,

I live in the Caribbean where we have two seasons, a dry season and a (wet) rainy season. When it's hot...IT'S HOT! Even though we are currently in the rainy season, it seems to be an extended dry season and the sun is at its BEST drinking the moisture out of EVERYTHING! I currently use Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner which work well. I would continue using this brand during the rainy season where the sun is not as powerful on a daily basis and during those rugged dry spells, I would use the Shea's Moisture to not only hydrate but to restore strength to my locs. I would do a deep conditioning treatment weekly under a hot towel for 5 to 10 mins with the Conditioner and Shampoo as usual for a deep cleanse and healing element for my scalp. The Result - a deep and strong rooted head of HAPPY LOCS!
