Wow!!!! it's Thursday already? I am not complaining because this weekend I get to hang with my boy Dean on his birthday.
This post was suppose to be up yesterday but when I got home and took the pictures I was super tired and ate took a shower and went to bed. Anyhow, this week I have been doing so requested hairstyles. If you have any request for hairstyle that you would like for me to do feel free to leave a comment below or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
So the request was to style my hair when the roots were all shagged up and need to be washed and retwisted.
I know lots of you may say mine is not in need of that but I'm telling you I have lots of new growth I need to interlock.
The style is pretty simple I made 5 huge plaits with my locks and then place the strategically over and under each other to create the hairstyle. Don't worry I got you. I have a tutorial coming for the look.
The weather here in LA is a little strange and I always try to incorporate a jacket/cardigan in my outfits.
Today's outfit is pretty simple. All I did was dress it up with some accessories and heels.
I paired this Asos skater skirt with a black Forever21 tank top. I singed my waist with a teal Steve Madden belt for some waist definition.
My accessories went perfect with the outfit in my estimation. I wore my Citizen watch, Mango bracelet, ANAP button earrings, Christian Dior envelope clutch, Forever21 necklace and Zara sunnies.
These Steve Madden Dejavu's added some glamour to the outfit.
I throw on my William Rast blazer because the weather has a mind of it's own at times. First I wore the sleeves down but was a tidbit hot so I opted to roll the sleeves up.
I think I like the look with the sleeve rolled up. What do you think?

Recently, I introduced this product as a part of my hair routine when my hair is getting thin around the edges or just to stimulate the growth of my hair. The product I am referring to is Groganics DHT Blocker System Hair Gro-n-wild. I was introduced by one of my clients who had very thin edges and noticed results in about a month. I bought it because I do lots of different hairstyles which in most cases tug on my hairline and make it thin. The peppermint rosemary aroma gives the product a great smell as well. You may check out my hairline thinning post here. Thank you for reading. Happy Friday Barbie and Kens!!! Hope you had a great week. I am looking forward to the weekend because I will get to attend GenBeauty LA.
Recently, I have been in a bun mood. I wore this half bun and a ponytail on Wednesday to work. It is very simple but was very fitting for my outfit that day.
For my outfit, I wore a high waist skinny pants and mock turtle neck sweater from H&M, Steve Madden over the knee boots, Zara bag and blazer.
Have a great weekend. Thank you for reading. Until Monday, stay fab and be creative.
Happy Monday Barbies and Kens!!! Today, I will be sharing with you some new products (new to me). These products are from Thank God Im Natural (TGIN).
I tried all the products in their moisture line and fell in love from the first use. I like how the products are light weight and moisturizing and do not build up on your hair.
Check the video above to see the products in use. After I used the products, I did a protective styling. This style will help you retain the moisture in your hair while being cute at the same time.
Here are a few pictures of the loc hairstyle. How do you protect your hair during the summer time?
Thank you for watching and reading. Until tomorrow, stay fab and be creative.
